Ajay Devgn marked his acting debut in the 1991 movie “Phool Aur Kaante,” for which he received the Filmfare Best Debut Actor (Male) Award. Thereafter, he featured in various action-packed movies like “Dil Hai Betaab,” “Divya Shakti,” “Sangram,” “Ek Hi Raasta,” “Shaktiman,” “Bedardi,” “Dilwale,” “Sohag,” “Kanoon,” “Vijaypath,” “Jung,” and more. In 1996, he had a string of successful releases including “Jigar,” “Jeet,” “Diljale,” and “Jaan.” In 1997, he starred alongside Aamir Khan and Juhi Chawla in the hit comedy “Ishq.”
In 2000, his film “Deewane” failed to garner positive reviews. He co-starred with Amitabh Bachchan in “Hum Kisise Kum Nahin” in 2002.
