The Himachal Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (HP TET) is conducted by the Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education (HPBOSE) to select eligible candidates for teaching positions in primary and upper primary levels. Here is the information you need to know about the exam:

Paper 1:
- Child Development and Pedagogy: Child Development (Primary School Child), Concept of Inclusive Education and Understanding Children with Special Needs, Learning and Pedagogy.
- Language I: Language Comprehension, Pedagogy of Language Development.
- Language II: Comprehension, Pedagogy of Language Development.
- Mathematics: Mathematics Content (numbers, arithmetic, geometry, shapes and spatial understanding, data handling, measurement, patterns, time), Pedagogical issues.
- Environmental Studies: Content (family and friends, food, shelter, water, travel, things we make and do), Pedagogical Issues.
Paper 2:
- Child Development and Pedagogy: Child Development (Elementary School Child), Concept of Inclusive Education and Understanding Children with Special Needs, Learning and Pedagogy.

HP TET Exam Pattern 2023
- The exam is conducted in offline mode and consists of objective-type multiple-choice questions.
- The total duration of the exam is 2.5 hours.
- The exam consists of two papers, Paper 1 and Paper 2.

- It is conducted for candidates who wish to teach Classes 1 to 5.
- The total marks for Paper 1 are 150.
